(San Jose – Poas – La Paz – Corcovado)
Day 1. San Jose, Costa Rica.
Meeting with the Bilingual-speaking guide at the airport, private transfer and accommodation in boutique-hotel Alta, placed near the best commercial center in San Jose – Multiplaza. You will be offered a greeting mixed drink. Accommodation at Deluxe Room. (without meal).
Day 2. Poas Volcano – La Paz Waterfalls.
Early in the morning you will be going for a sightseeing tour (private tour) at Poas Volcano, the route will follow Pan-American Highway towards the city Alajuela, you will see Juan Santamaria monument, and also will visit the famous Los Mangos Park. While driving up to the Volcano, you will see coffee, strawberry plantations. At the Poas Volcano you will see it’s main crater and fumaroles. After this you will walk the forest paths to the amazing Botos lake, where you will enjoy flora and fauna of this National Park. Afterwards your trip will continue along the cloudy forest paths to the gorgeous Waterfalls of La Paz. Here you will also visit famous butterfly and hummingbird farms. After the traditional Costa Rican lunch your guide will help you to accommodate at the Deluxe Room in the Peace Lodge hotel. (Breakfast/lunch).
Day 3. Peace Lodge Hotel
Peace Lodge Hotel takes his place in the 7 most romantic places for the newlyweds, and was considered the best hotel in the “Rainy Forest” for the newlyweds. Today you can enjoy the magical views of the forest and Poas Volcano, feel the aroma of the exotic flowers, or just enjoy the fireplace at your luxurious room. Your emotions of visiting La Paz River Valley will surely stay in your memory for a long time. (Breakfast).
Day 4. San Jose – Sierpe – Osa Peninsula.
Checkout after breakfast. Individual transfer to the airport for the Aviancataca flight to the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Flight to the Palmar Sur or Drake Bay airport. Then transfer by car to the river Sierpe, where you will go by boat along the river with the largest mangrove forests in Central America. During this walk you will see crocodiles, snakes, monkeys and a large variety of birds. Sailing through the Sierpe River delta, you will meet two of the most spectacular regions of the country, Drake Bay and the Marenco Biological Reserve. Arrival to the hotel of your choice (Copa del Arbol / Casa Corcovado / Pirate Cove). Accommodation. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 5. Corcovado National Park.
You will visit the National Park Corcovado that is considered the most intensive biological place in the world (collective tour). There is no place in the world like Corcovado. Its flora contains thousands of species, many of them are totally endangered, for example caryocar costaricense, brosimum alicastrum. Corcovado’s fauna also strikes with its variety. There are many parrots, jaguars and crocodiles. (breakfast/lunch/dinner).
Day 6. Isla Del Caño.
This day you will have a sightseeing tour (collective) by boat to the Isla Del Cano, the important biological and archeological place of Costa Rica. If you will get lucky you might see dolphins, humpback whales and killer whales. The island is circled by coral reefs. Volcanic rocks which are placed underwater, serve as the homes to the corrals, which attract numerous mollusks and infinite amounts of fish. This place is considered as the best place for diving in Costa Rica. Upon the arrival you will be offered snorkeling equipment for swimming in the crystal clear waters of this island. Lunch-picnic, and road back to hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 7. Sightseeing Tour at San Jose
This morning you will return to the closest local airport by boat. Flight to San Jose. Upon the arrival the city-tour is waiting for you (individual). During this tour you will learn local culture and history. You will visit the most interesting places of San Jose. This includes: visiting the National Theatre and/or Museum. Walk around the souvenir shops. Transfer to boutique-hotel Alta. Accommodation. (Breakfast)
Day 8. San Jose – Airport.
Private transfer to the international airport according to your flight. (Breakfast).
