(San Jose – Golfito – Manuel Antonio – Arenal )
Day 1. San Jose, Costa Rica.
Meeting with the guide at the airport, personal transfer, and accommodation at the Barceló San José Palacio Hotel or at the Presidente Hotel. (Without meal)
Day 2. San Jose – Golfito.
Early in the morning you will have personal transfer to the airport for the flight with the Sansa airlines to the port city Golfito, which is placed at the Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica close to the Panama border. Your exotic holidays will start here, at the Nicuesa Lodge Hotel, which is surrounded by jungles and placed on the coast of the Golfo Dulce, bay with the emerald waters. Perfect combination of the comfort and harmony with the nature will move you into “Another World”, which still has it’s primeval nature. Waters of the Golfo Dulce are rich with different species of fish, rays, dolphins, turtles and whales (the best time is from December to February or from July to September). Surrounding forests will charm you with their beautiful flora and the sounds of animals. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 3. Nicuesa Lodge Hotel.
Your wake up this day will be followed with the singing of birds and with the howls of howler monkeys. After having a good breakfast you can choose any tour. It includes a walk around the forest to the waterfalls, visiting the botanical garden, boat tour to the Golfo Dulce Bay, snorkeling, 2-hour long fishing, boat tour through the mangroves to the Río Esquinas, canoe tour, or just spend your time in the hammock. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 4. Nicuesa Lodge Hotel.
Day for rest and optional tours. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 5. Golfito – Manuel Antonio.
After lunch you will leave this heavenly place and on the individual transfer you will move to the Quepos resort area, which is famous for the local National Park Manuel Antonio. Accommodation at the Parador Hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch).
Day 6. National Park Manuel Antonio.
After the breakfast you will visit Manuel Antonio National Park (collective tour), this park is called a “pearl” of Costa Rica. Blinding white beaches and lots of animals are the landmarks of this beautiful place. Accommodation at the Parador Hotel. (Breakfast).
Day 7. Manuel Antonio – La Fortuna.
After midday you will have regular transfer to the transfer to the Arenal Volcano zone, which is known for it’s activity – periodical spectacular bursts of smoke and lava. Accommodation at Arenal Kioro Hotel. (Breakfast).
Day 8. Arenal Volcano.
After breakfast you will be offered with the (collective tour) Sky Tram & Sky Trek: Sky Tram – this is the 15 minutes tour on the aerial railway to the lookout point “Miguel Angel”, from where you can see the Arenal Volcano, mountain chain Tilaran and the lake Arenal. Sky Trek – is a canopy tour with the length of 2.8 km, zip line under the tree crowns. After midday you will visit the Tabacon thermal spa (the best thermal SPA in the country), where you can take hot and soothing baths in the natural environment. Dinner at Tabacon. Accommodation at the Arenal Manoa Hotel. (Breakfast/Dinner).
Day 9. La Fortuna – San Jose.
After midday you will return to the San Jose on the regular transfer, accommodation at Barceló San José Palacio Hotel or at the Presidente Hotel. (Breakfast).
Day 10. San Jose – Airport.
Personal transfer to the airport according to your flight. (Breakfast).
