(San Jose – Tortuguero – Arenal – Monteverde)
Day 1. San Jose, Costa Rica.
Meeting with the guide at the airport, regular transfer and accommodation at the Barceló San José Palacio hotel or Presidente hotel (without meal).
Day 2. San Jose – Tortuguero.
Early in the morning you will visit Tortuguero National Park (shared tour). You will be offered breakfast on the road. On the road you will see Braulio Carrillo National Park, which will shock you with it’s flora, also you will visit banana plantation on the road to the Cano Blanco, where you will get on the boat and swim over the Parismina river to the Tortuguero natural water channels, where you will have a perfect journey to your hotel. After lunch you will have a walk to the Tortuguero (shared tour), where you can visit the Green Turtles Museum. Afterwards you will return to the hotels. Accommodation at the Evergreen Lodge Hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 3. Tortuguero National Park.
After breakfast you will walk around the nature reserve channels (Park entrance $15 is not included into overall price), after lunch you can take walking tour, during which you will learn the flora and fauna of the local zone (shared tour). (Night turtle observation beach tour will cost $30 during this season). Staying In the Evergreen Lodge Hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 4. Tortuguero – Arenal.
After breakfast you will leave to the Siquirres, where the national Costa Rican lunch will be waiting for you, then you will have regular transfer to the Arenal zone. Accommodation at the Los Lagos Hotel or Arenal Manoa Hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch).
Day 5. Canopy Tour – Tabacon Thermal Spa.
After breakfast you will have Canopy Tour (shared tour) – you can only have this unforgettable experience once in the lifetime. It will be given to you by the Arenal Paraiso Hotel: tree crown zip line tour, which includes 12 platforms. You will have a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views from the air. At the evening you will be visiting Tabacon Thermal Spa (best thermal SPA in the country) where you can take hot and soothing bath in the natural environment, watching the Arenal Volcano eruptions in comfort; Dinner at Tabacon. Accommodation at the Los Lagos Hotel or Arenal Manoa Hotel. (Breakfast/Dinner).
Day 6. Monteverde Natural Reserve.
Early in the morning you will head out to the famous Monteverde village, which is placed in the zone of the “cloudy forest”. Your path will start at the Arenal Volcano and will end at the Arenal lake, then you will have a boat trip over the lake to the Chiquito river, and again on the car you will reach your hotel El Establo. During this day the best forest tour in Monteverde will be waiting for you: “Monkey bridges”, Humming-bird and butterfly gallery (shared tour). If you are lucky, you might see a sacred Maya bird. A famous Quetzal, which is close to extinction. Lunch is included in this tour. Accommodation at the El Establo Hotel or Ficus Hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch).
Day 7. Monteverde – San Jose.
Before midday you will have spare time. After lunch you will return to San Jose on the regular transfer. Accommodation at the Barceló San José Palacio Hotel or Presidente Hotel. (Breakfast).
Day 8. San Jose – Airport.
After breakfast you will have personal transfer to the international airport according to your flight. (Breakfast).
