On the Isla del Caño you can see peaceful reef fish. Many of the species that you will meet here are also live on the Galapagos Islands. If you like sharks here you can see white-tipped sharks up to 2 meters in length, bull sharks and very rarely seen hammerhead sharks. Depending on the time of year are observed humpback whales, killer whales and pilot whales, as well as large bottlenose dolphins and long-beaked dolphins. Not surprisingly to find here huge flocks of manta rays and stingrays sailing nearby. You can see a huge number of fish here, but the biggest pleasure for divers is a meeting with moray eels, often reaching up to 2 meters in length.

Some dive sites:

  1. SHIPWRECK (15-20 meters)
We never find here the shipwreck. It is a peaceful place for diving in the rocky formations. If you stay still in one place fish will sail around you. Usually you can meet stingrays, sharks, and other small tropical fish. This is a great place for photos under the water. Difficulty: Easy.

  2. BAJO DEL DIABLO – DEVIL’S HOLE (15-40 meters)
The waters of the hole and the gorge are full of cichlasoma, groupers, barracudas, puffers, parrot fish, moray eels and sharks. This place is a real hell of underwater life. Level of difficulty: Intermediate.

  3. PARAISO (PARADISE) (20 meters)
It is quite a boring flat-bottomed place with a few small hills and a few rock formations. If you are not lucky enough, you will see some fish, but if you are lucky ….. through this site numerous flocks of cichlasoma, groupers and barracudas are floating. We often get lost among the thousands of fish. You’ll have a chance to see 20-30 sharks. You think that you died and gone to heaven. Level of difficulty: Intermediate.
